Hey Llogsters,
It's been a while. Almost six months, in fact. Deplorable. And I call myself a blogger. Or do I?
Anyway, I thought I'd update The Llog quickly (very quickly) with just some stuff that I've been doing and getting into.
Here goes:
-I've been reading a good bit. My prose choices have been Orson Scott Card's "Ender Saga". It's a great sci-fi series that I haven't read since my brief stint at college. I re-read the first book, "Ender's Game", which is amazing, and am currently reading the second book of the series: "Speaker for the Dead". These books are not your typical sci-fi and you should go read them now. Card has some of the most well developed characters I've ever read.
-I've been studying the comic book series "The Invisibles" (again) and have been reading a sort of companion book to it along with the series this time. AMAZING.
-I recently re-watched the entire series of a show called "Breaking Bad" which airs on AMC. I did this in preparation for the Season Three premiere on this coming Sunday. The show is absolutely great. A close second to my favorite show: LOST.
-I've delved back into scripting a comic book that I've been working on for over a year called "BLACK". I've tried to abandon the story, but it just WON'T LET ME!!! I'm currently working on getting a final script down on paper that I'm actually satisfied with.
And, I guess, in short, that's just about it. Just wanted to do a (really) quick post after an acquaintance checked this out. I'll try and keep up this time.
